Default Basic question on 6922

Hi,

I am new to vacuum tube, just wondering what is the purpose for Pin#9 on 6922? Is it a shield? When should i apply or use it?

Hi,

On this tube pin 9 is a shield indeed.
It should be grounded.

Even if you use the the tube in parallel? (the 2 sections)
