mounting an EL34 upside-down

as I need to conduct testing/measurements, I need to turn over the top of the chassis so I can get access to the pins/circuit. on top of the chassis are 2 tubes: 5AS4 and EL34. I have looked at the RCA 5AS4 datasheet and it says I can mount it upside down.

I've looked at Philip's and Mullard's datasheet for EL34 and I cannot find any mounting info.

any ideas?

thanks for the help

Oodles of musical instrument heads have them mounted upside down, since forever.
