I,m building a push/pull 300B amp with seperate power supply for input/driver stage 6sn7 and 300B output stage .
I was going to use 866 or 83 M/V cons out weight the pros.
Next the 5AS4 better than most 5U4,s .
Reading about the T.V. damper diodes eg.Lynn Olson and a few others .
So what are your thoughts
6CJ3 or
6D22S Svetlana
looked at the 3B28 xenon gas more RF than the M/V.
Cheers
Malcolm.

Neither do 6D22DS - it's a cathode cap (same difference, though!)Go with 6CJ3. They do not require anode cap.
I've been using 6D22S for a couple of years. Nice long (30sec) soft start, up to 600v h-k, ~350mA current and at least 1000v PIV. Forward voltage drop is only 10-15v.
Evatco sells them in Australia.
I,ve tried 8 different tube suppliers around the world none have 10 of the same 6CJ3,s.
Try House of Tubes garage sale:

I got a large batch of GE 6DW4B/6CJ3 at $1.25 a pop.
