Vacuum Tube Shock Proof Plates, are they useful? Do they work? Is that the correct name for them?

I like the looks of this one that is attached but can't find any like it. Any help for where to source these in the US?

Not in the US but they used to be available from HK on the 'vt4c' website - they're not shock proof plates tho, just Ali or copper -
For vibration reduction/isolation, there's some place in Germany that sells the little rubber mounts with metal thread ends (for a crazy price, too!) but you can find these in the US from Mcmasters carr, I think

The actual 'shock proof' mounts are something else again that used to be used in military equipment - this used a type of flexible rubber/silicon collar but you can make these yourself using the same mounting plates as from the same 'vt4c' or make them yourself

It's interesting that you're looking for a system to isolate the tubes/valves from the chassis as these vibrations are often the most significant but overlooked source of trouble.

Some companies sell a silicon band to fit around the valve at greatly inflated prices because people are daft enough to shell out on them. Many companies, Mouser, RS components etc, sell red silicon bands for pennies or fleabay them for pounds as "audiophile quality dampers".
For instance; [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Duende-Criature-Electronic-Tube-damper-ring/263503356533?hash=item3d5a062275:g:2qsAAOSwC8FZbZbI
Duende Criatura tube rings considerably reduce microphonics, distortion and self-oscillation from audio tubes. They are to be slid around the top part of the tube where they reduce mechanical vibrations. The listener will notice improvement of three dimensional picture, a more controlled bass and a cleaner soundstage.

"These fat profile flexible rings are essentially vibration absorbers which reduce external audio feedback which can cause valve microphony impairing the sound quality significantly".

Believe that and you will believe anything. So don't get fleeced!
