first time build TSE45 need help

I start follow Tubelab Assambly Manual . First time with no tube on PCB when I switch on R5 have a flash and smoke I don't know why ? I double check on PCB I can't find what the problem.

Plase help me to fix my TSE.

Looks to me like U2 & U3 are backwards. Possibly Q1 & Q2 also

Take a close look @ D1 & U1 also. When you flip these think about orientation.

Now I must change U2,U3,Q1,Q2,D1,U1 to the new one right?

How to measure which one are already dead?

Don't have a clue how to measure. I'll take a pic of mine so you can compare them to yours . I have D1 & U1 installed on the top of the pcb and bent over. I'll bet this is your problem area.

Now I already fix all of U2,U3,Q1,Q2,D1,U1 and set all B+ Bias follow manual

I put volume50k on R1 R2 R3 ,L1 L2 L3 and input from Rca to R4 ,L4 is it right?

Now it have a sound but very low power with fostex fe103 and that not balance between left/right

I'm going to assume you used an Alps pot, but it's the same for just about any pot... You only need to use R1; R2; R5.... Connect the RCA inputs directly to the pot, bypassing the board. Here is a couple of pics showing the hookup. I've wired up 1/2 doz amps this way w/o any problems. Hope this helps...

Solder, then cover with shrink tubing... it helps strengthen. I use twisted solid wire to connect the RCA jacks to the Alps....

Thank denny3249 I double check Vol and Rca are ok now signal still low i must turn the vol to max to make a sound I not sure which part are damage from my false on U2,U3,Q1,Q2,D1,U1 that make R5 burn any recommend which part I choose check

now the problem is very low power on sound i must turn on full of volume at power and pre to hear the very little sound

i recheck all of resistor on pcb . All of them ok same value as parts list. i pull out and measured by ohm meter.

now don't know how to do?

I have some question if my tube have a problem (weak)what happen between strong tube/ weak tube?
