I just looked at the parameters for the Sharp voltage rectifier and they state 7 volts max. I am at 7.2 volts under load. Should I be concerned? That circuit draws 3.6 amps.
The Edcor transformer I am using is rated a 7 amp for 6.3 volt tap but 7.2 volts under load seems like too much.
I seem to remember I used to get a no load voltage through that tap of 6.8 to 6.9 volts when I did the initial check out.
