Sorry I'm such a newby .... need help with pot wiring on my TSE
I've a 50K pot like the one in the first photo (the one with the odd name), I suppose the wiring should be like the one in the second photo.
Is this correct?
And the wiring between the input jack and the pot and the TSE should be like in third photo?
Or I'm missing something?
I've looked around but can't help to understand
Thanks

You've got the input and ground reversed.
The two end terminals have the signal across them, and the center terminal is the "wiper" that picks up the signal at different points aling the resistance depending on shaft angle. If you turn it fully counterclockwise, the center terminal/wiper will connect with the left terminal, which should be ground (and making no signal at the center terminal), presuming you want the usual behavior of turning clockwise to increase volume.

That's true, thanks.
Would you say that now the wiring is correct?
Doesn't L1 and L5 do exactly the same?
Is it a way of mantain an order?
Thanks a lot

They do APPROXIMATELY the same. L1 is the signal return path for the volume control. L5 is the signal return path for the signal input.Doesn't L1 and L5 do exactly the same?

They both go to the same "common" but I'd connect them exactly as shown. The reasoning for this is complicated (partly, the resistance between these two points is very low, but not zero, and sometimes this causes problems). You can read more about this in most any thread that has the word "ground" in it.
