SE board and OPT 1627 SEA

I built the usual suspect 6SN7 and 300B with the Hammond 1627 SEA some years ago.
Comparing to my Unison Research Sinfonia (KT88 PSE), the sound was really boring and flat. (Loudspeaker BW704 and a single Driver TQWT)

I have just 2 question (actually 3):
does the SE board will be a real step ahead?
is it worth to spend in a real expensive OPT or can I use my OPT 1627 SEA and I get still an improvement with the SE board?
George, I contact you by email. Might be that both are in your SPAM?

thanks in advance for all
