Default Simple P-P Input Tube Choice

I'm wondering about the 6414 tube.
Would it be suitable for the front end of the simple P-P?
I hear that it requires more heater current so I would probably need to get an uprated transformer to handle the extra current needed.

Well, my Simple Push Pull is up and running.
Quite well I might add.
Sooooo.....I roasted my rectifier by not waiting long enough to turn it back on.
Needless to say I was happy to find my local music store had a GT 5U4 for $20.
YIPPEE! It's working again.
The 5U4 is about 30V lower than the 5AR4 it replaced so I figured it would be a good time to try the 6414 tube in the front end.
The 6414 sounds wonderful and I really like it, too bad my new 5AR4 has showed up.

The question still holds, will the 6414 with it's 200V limit (12AT7 250V) be ok in my Simple P-P when running a 5AR4 instead of the 5U4?
