Got the 6V6 installed - and I like what I'm hearing...

If the output is 1.5-2 watts, then these are loudest 1.5 watts I have heard.

I was using a pair of those jj6v6s in PP, and actually measured around 8W. I think the new production models are a little juiced up... But sound really good to me.

Russ,

Gathered from a few threads from long time back that you had EH KT90s in your amp.

You still have them or running SED EL34s now? It would great if you could share some impressions.

Default EH 6V6 Red plating?

There is slight red plating on the EH 6V6 though the B+ is only ~415v?

Aren't these new 6V6 tubes supposed to take much higher voltages?
