Default Tubelab SE EL34

I'd like to try EL34s (triode mode) in my Tubelab SE. Did someone try those tubes in that amp? What would be the bias voltage in that case?

I'm a total nube, but EL 34s work great in a Tubelab Simple SE. The Tubelab SE used direct heated triodes like a 300b.

My Tubelab Simple SE is almost completed and I will be using EL 34s. All reports say that they sound excellent.

I tried it at one point. I know that George did a ton of experiments with triode-strapped octals on the TSE before he designed the SSE.

The bias current will depend on your B+ (are you running 45s or 300Bs). Use this as a guide (from the SSE manual):
