Hi Carl,

I had problems with tube sockets on my preamp that I built two years ago... I will do as you suggest.

for the Motor Run cap, I bought an ASC 40uF cap from partsconnexion.com

I had a bunch of stuff to order from them so I threw a cap into the order.

It was only $20.
