Hello Tubelab fans,
Has anybody tried 6H13C Russian double triode tubes for TSE design topology with some modifications like semi-fixed bias? I am wondering if 6H13C can be tamed well. I think the tubes look nice, sound sweet and cost not much, and the wife acceptance factor seems to be high, as far as they are used in winter. Nos 6AS7 tubes are out of my consideration, due to reliability issues (arcing over, triode matching etc). Please let me hear your opinions or experiences. Thank you, Yoshi |
