I have a quad matched pair of winged "c" el34's that some one yanked from a brand new amp that they didnt want. I also have 1 10 pounder power transformer left, and some 6n6p's( i think the can be used as ecc99 replacements, but gain is only 30). Im sure i cant use all this to make a simple SE...
So lets say i keep the el34's, and the 10 pounder is good for 300v B+ and heaters, what sized/voltage boost transformer would i need to get the project going? Also what kind of output am i looking at, im coming from a pure class A pp el84 pentode mode amp that im satified with the output power(8-10 watts). |
