Sourcing SimpleSE parts

I'm in the process of gathering parts for my Simple SE build. I am having trouble sourcing the C1 47uF 500v capacitor. Any suggested suppliers?

Second question, is 180uF too high for C2?

For 500V caps, I'd generally go with Digi-Key. Unfortunately, they are showing out of stock and estimated delivery is not until the end of July.

Maybe you could try Newark...

cathode resistors

I would like to install switchable cathode resistors, so to give me a little more room is there any reason why I should not use silicone coated wirewound resistors instead of ceramic wirewound resistors, for example digi-key 820W-5-ND vs ALSR5F-820-ND?

I can't think of any, as long as you stay with comparable wattage ratings. I'd think a 5 watt part is minimum.
