The simple PP

I have seen a lot of interest in the simple pp. I would like to know why this particular amp has attracted so much interest. What makes this amp special? I just don't know enough about amps to venture a guess about this.

The amp circuit itself it fairly classic in design. I'd say the hoopla is more about George's reputation than about the amp design itself. All the fine-tuning is done and the kit should be accompanied by a nice set of instructions. The chances of excellent results are very high. Little worry about grounding or anything like that because it's all on one PCB.

There are probably a lot of happy Simple SE owners that are itching for more power, too.

A lot of old consoles from the 60's used a P-P El 84 or 6v6 amp.
