Default DIY fireplace

This is completely irrelevant to audio, but it's total DIY coolness:

I think "total DIY coolness" aptly sums up spirit of this thing. Strikes just the right balance between having a really good time with something and begging to be committed by your friends and neighbors.

It looks really sweet, but..........

Do you think it was really smart to build a fireplace cover out of styrafoam? I don't know i'd be able to sleep at this place either, for fear the place would go up in flames.

Would be really kickass though if they could design one of these things that both looked as good as this one does, and is flame retardant.
