I'm from Kerala, India and we are facing severe flooding due to heavy monsoon rains. Most of the transportation infrastructure is underwater. In almost all places, there is no electricity, drinking water, medicines and food.
We are seeing more sunshine but the conditions still remain. Luckily, I'm safe. The water is around 15 meters away from my house. But if it rains more, my place would also get submerged.

Things are improving but the damage has already been done.
Yes, I'm in a safer place. The rains have let up and is expected to stay that way unless an another depression originate near the bay of Bengal.
