The wife thinks my Tannoy Corner Yorks are ugly and I am starting to agree with her constant nagging about getting shot of them.
I now listen mostly to a pair of small powered Canadian made speakers I paid under $10 for at a charity shop and are placed on top of the Yorks. On the floor is a sub that cost me nothing, it had a dry joint that just needed re-flowing to cure the loud hum.
Do speakers have soul, I'll only believe it if I read in Stereophile.

I'd say if your speakers turn you into an alcoholic then it probably has more soul than most people.
