Been working my *** off, all of a sudden several of the machines start acting up a.

1- PUSH for the SAME hardware/software platform across all the users.

2- ONLY allow approved apps. If an user insists then they are SOL on support.

3- arrange for regular PM


Yep, all easier said than done, but the elite whankers will listen.....eventually.

Machines as in production/industry, a bit difficult to install apps on a PLS. But for IT I mostly agree.

And about Lenovo, cannot say they are bad, not worse than others. It's all a hunt for money, quantity wins over quality these days, just how it is. If I want a decent keyboard I'd probably get a QPAD MK-85 or similar. The Razer Blackwidow looks good, but I am not entirely certain what switches they use. Tesoro Durandal can be had with a choice of switches and seem reasonably priced. QPAD MK-50 Is probably ok.
