No, I won't be back to Europe until the end of November. And believe me, you'll be on the hook for some beer and wine. Fortunately, Red Chief stays home, else I'd worry about an international incident.

Headed to South America this time out. Nice place, but the food is better in Western Europe. I wish I had your facility with Spanish and Portuguese.

Looking forward to it already...

Yeah, careful with seafood in those countries...that's how I spent 15 days in the hotel losing 50 lbs...

Great wine in Santiago de Chile though...

I wish I had your facility with Spanish and Portuguese.

Sea un placer de accompanarle en sus viajes futuros senor...y ademas poder gustar algunos vinos maravillosos...

Buen viaje,;)

Frank,

off the topic, but since it was mentioned, do you grow much
wine in Belgium? For beer Belgium is a very strong candidate for the top-of-the-list position IMHO, but I've never heard much
of Belgian wine. But maybe you are like the Swiss, you keep
it to yourselves? :)

BTW, Elso Kwak always make me think of the Belgian Kwak
beer. :)

Hi Christer,

But maybe you are like the Swiss, you keep
it to yourselves?

Yes, this a quality, not a quantity thing..........

BTW, Elso Kwak always make me think of the Belgian Kwak beer

Funny...me too...

You want to be careful with that kind of beer...it has a tendency of hitting you when you least expect it.

Lately, I'm enjoying a Keizer Karel and occasionally a Brigant....

Saludade,;)

I know. I have only tried it once out of curiosity. It is far too
strong to taste good in my opinion. This was some 10 years
ago when my girlfriend of the time and I spent a few days
vacation in Brusseles. She was not much of a beer drinker,
although occasionaly enjoying a beer, but She was very satisfied
with many of the Belgian beers, including the Kwak, but like
me, it was mostly the Kwak glasses we liked, rather than the
beer itself. :)

Hi,

The moderator in charge is going to have to do some cleaning...

[QUOTEbut like me, it was mostly the Kwak glasses we liked, rather than the beer itself. [/QUOTE]

Yes, and it's the shape of the glass that gives you the kick, not the beer by itself...got to think of it...it starts to sound like audio enigmae...

Cheers,;)

P.S.:

Kwakkel de kwak de'r zit een Elso op me dak??

Klok, klok, klok, wat mot je met een Elso klok?

Just dutch "humour noire"...

Cheers guys,:D
