What are you drinking?

Well, it's been a long night. Started with an Old Speckled Hen, followed by a Rolling Rock to keep things light, then some nice NZ white with the lobsters, a little dark rum (Old Sam) in the coffee, a little more Old Sam with water to cool things down, champers at midnight, another Old Speckled Hen and finally a nice Havana Club Anejo (7 yrs old) on ice for a nightcap. Happy New Year!

I like to keep my gin in the freezer and the vermouth and olives in the fridge so it doesn't require ice, stirring or straining. :)

I know it's almost sacrilege but I often 'accidentally' splash a wee of the olive juice in there too rather than the lemon. My Father has a fit when he sees me do that and I did it to him one time and he said he enjoyed it. He asked what I had done just as he realized and now he won't talk Martinis with me anymore. :D

Cheers.
