Now, very likely.

The 1975 mutt movie paid to fill a gap in Don's ego and a bunch of RF blocking ceramic caps.

diyaudio politics says we can't talk about politics - probably to save us from boredom.

No, i think it goes better like this:
Et preterea censeo Carthago delenda est ( Cato the Censor ).
It is well known ( in REALLY :( educated people ) that Carthage was a real P.I.T.A. of Rome... ;).
Ave Imperator, morituri te salutant
Photius
(when you are on the way to sin bin - probably)

Stone sounds like Stones and de Palma is a Stones fan, that's a tie.
I find both movies too Amerikanski to be a full authentic trip for a Eurica bum, tie again.

Hell, i still get off on the Doors and the Stone cast is worth more than the entire flic cost, so 1) Platoon it is.
But hey, doesn't mean i don't enjoy de Palma works, runner up is 1) de Palma

Hey Fotios, long time no see. Hope you didn't mind the dong jokes - nothing personal. :D

Haven't been in sin bin but sometimes I also get the urge to go there. Forum suicide thoughts.

I vote for Full Metal Jacket.

Hey Alvaro... (nice name, it remembers me famous revolucionarios. BTW my cat's name is Ernesto ;)).
Are you serious man? There is no reason to be afraid from my wrath. Maybe later, i will give you as prey to my lions. To the present, i suffer from the "boredom syndrome" of Albert Camus .
Ah, this... dong :D. You may know that (as well our partner Jacco Fermoilen) i find this word by luck, in the lot of spam e-mails that i receive everyday:
"Do you want to enlarge your dong? By Viagra, Levitra etc. on-line"
Later i find what means dong - and the example :D - in Urban dictionary like you.
Jacco, he gave me the opportunity - writing nookie - to make a joke in him.
Have a nice day.
Photius Proletarius

@jlsem: Awful movie. But I have certain rules that seem to work to help me avoid pictures I'll hate.

1. Nothing with Tom Hanks.
2. Nothing by Robert Zemeckis.
3. Nothing by Stephen Spielberg.
4. No movies whose titles end in a number.
5. No movies about a group of menopausal women discussing their innermost feelings about their mothers.
6. No French movies about the angst of being a pretty French teenage girl.
7. No James Cameron.

The Godfather 2 ?

My vote is on "The Pianist" , a Polański masterpiece.
