I figured the majority of readers here are 'merican, so I did the conversion so as not to confuse anyone.

I can get AF to run a script to get a better number, but a quick survey of the members list indicates between 30-40% US membership. A lerge number of those being scince types will be happy with real degrees.

We had some cold days here last week.
As you all know I live in north of Sweden.
My coldest night reading was -31.9 C
and in the daytime it never went warmer than -24 C.
But another place in Sweden ( Åsele ) had -37.7 C this night.

The lowest temperature ever recorded in the United States was -62 °C (-80 °F)
on January 23, 1971 at Prospect Creek Camp, located near the Arctic Circle along the Alaska pipeline.
This is not much warmer than the record low for North America that Snag in the Yukon dropped to on February 3, 1947.
