Anyone know how to remove the chuck on a DW991 14.4V cordless drill?
I think the gearbox ate itself while I was hanging some drywall this afternoon. I want to tear open the gear box but I can't get the chuck off. I removed the reverse-thread screw from the center of the chuck but there seems to be something else holding it on.

You have to know which direction it's unscrews, but it's usually counterclockwise.- Status
