Yes I have, twice. His looks sane in comparison to the other members of his family.
There is a "coffee table" book set of Zap Comix -- discussed in this morning's New York Times -- http://www.nytimes.com/2014/11/02/arts/design/zap-comix-now-in-a-coffee-table-boxed-set.html
I think that the proto-stoners working the library at Universitatits Bronxiensis subscribed. They also had Playboy, but you had to ask the reference librarian for the much pawed over copy. (Jebbies probably got it first).

I experienced the Jebbies long before Zap. I did like the comment about S.
Clay Wilson blowing the doors off the church, it figures too that WSB was a fan.
Never heard of him.

Yeah, I remember laughing at those big boots moving on the page the first time I was introduced to some potent Sativa. John Curl, I remember reading you modified your ST1700 in order to prove out your PID/TID thesis. I have one and was hoping you could give me an idea of how resolving it can get with the mod. I'm looking to measure 1ppm THD+N distortion over 10Hz-30KHz, can this box do that with your mods? I tried to email you as per the suggestion of RNMarsh but your contact information is disabled.
maybe you're confused? - it was Cordell who built a quadrature IM analyzer to test the PID/TID thesis

Great interview. I saw Crumb play with his band once or twice, and would occasionally see him around Davis, CA back when I lived there and he was in nearby Winters. Some of his comics from that era were true enough to the area to make me say, "Hey, I know that house".
