i stil have the tranny. would like to get rid if it since im moving in a month or so.

I think Thingyness still wants it... and if he doesn't then it isn't much further to Victoria... 70-0-70 -- two separate windings on the secondary or centre-tapped?

Yes i believe so. there is about 7 wires on the other side where the ac goes in dont ask me how to wire it but yeah. i believe you can.

Then in a 110V country (like BC) it could also be considered a 35-0-35 trafo (ie much more useful)

i use 110 and in canada but when pluged in i get

70 0 70 not 35 0 35

But if you wired the primary so that it was expecting 220V and then plug it into 110V you should get 35-0-35
