WANTED : Laser pick-up KSS 272 A

Hi all ,

Please , can anyone help me to find a new piece of laser
pick-up Sony model KSS 272 A .

I have a Sony CD player model CDP555ESJ , and I need to
replace the defective pick-up .

I could not find it here in Brazil .

Please guys , any input will be wellcome .

P.S. I have tried with Sony ( global assistance ) , Sony America,
Sony U.S.A. and Sony Brazil , without any success .

The ESJ is the little brother of 779ES, and use KSS-272A.

That would be me...

Please see all the details in this thread - including at least one known source for a replacement laser (DK based)

And just for the record 505 uses the 272 while the older 555 uses the 271...

As I had promised , here is the feedback , unfortunately all of
them : NEGATIVE

I could NOT find the Laser pick-up in the following places :

They have a PRICE , they have a picture , BUT they do not
have it on stock .
