WANTED: KRELL KRC-HR Solid State Preamp, I am looking for a line stage KRC-HR preamp. It must be in full perfect working order with perfect cosmetic appearance with no flaws, dings, marks, nicks nor scratches, I am looking for an original HR, no conversions or upgrades to a HR, must be built as an orginal HR. I am looking for one that is built 1995 or newer with the squared style face plate as pictured "not the rounded cornered face plate" squared to match my KSA series amp. If you have any thing like this that you might want to part with then please contact me with the information and serial number of the unit. I am a serious buyer interested in one located in the United States Only!

Be careful with your want on old Krell versions. I got a KRC and recently needs a checking service on muting/channel input. I contacted Krell service manager describing the problem then received a slight response that the cause might be of a drying capacitor or a dead IC. Then I post a ask for service guidance. He just ran away.

Krell's customer care or after-sale service level would be on a question mark.

It's too bad you feel that way. I have been dealing with "Patrick Bresnahan" for years who has been the service coordinator and his quality of service is second to none. Every time I needed anything Patrick was able to help. Now I don't know if he is still there or not. The last time I have talked to him was back in 2007.

Probably Raymond C. Mutchler is the new guy. I saw various complains recently in other forums. It might be that US users are serviced better than other regions.
