I'd like to experiment with the modern version, can't believe they stopped making these.

I think Heil moved to Denmark. The new ones are available at http://www.lautsprechershop.de/ I e-mailed them and they have them available for 599 Euro. Replacement ribbons also. They sound really good in my system.

thanks for the heads up - the old price seems prefereable....
