At my school, a local artist was giving a presentation on advanced beadmaking in my Art Metal and Glass class. I mentioned that some of here beads would, with a little modification, make spiffy knobs, and she was interested in trying a few.
Anyone interested in these? Price would range from 20$ for a pretty spiffy knob to 40$ for a gargantuan, super-elaborate knob. UV glass and LEDs would be employed to make 'em light up. Remember that these are not only spiffy knobs, but have a very high WAF, especially if your SO is big into arts and crafts. |

The sonic properties of glass are far inferior to that of wood and other previous metals
Softly illumiinated glass would look nice with a wooden enclosure. I might be interested if the knobs fit a 6mm shaft.

I'll see if I can get some pics of previous beads. Knobs would be pretty much made-to-order, so you could get a knob that fit a snuffeluphagus if you really wanted one. Please note that these are BIG knobs (4-6cm, or more) I'm talking about. Little knobs are much less. |

Would they be clear or can they be a 'frosted' appearance?
