This auction is for a pair of custom made loudspeakers. The tweeter is the precise Hi-Vi RT1-II Isodynamic Planar. The woofer is the Focal-JMlab 5W4252 5 1/4 inch unit featuring "W" Cone technology. Cabinets are 3/4" MDF walls with 1" MDF front baffle. Exterior is finished with high quality real wood veneer and the front baffle is finished in satin black. An optimized designed crossover with high quality 14 gauge inductors and audiophile capacitors blend the two drive units seamlessly. These crossovers were custom tweaked with sound easy. I have one set of curves listed below.
The sound is smooth without any hint of harshness. Very easy listening set of speakers with good imaging. Bass response is impressive for a small stand mount loudspeaker. Condition of the loudspeaker is excellent. Construction is very solid. I am getting rid of because I am going to start on a new bookshelf project. Specs: Description: 2 Way Bass Reflex Loudspeaker Woofer: Focal-JMlab 5W4252 5 1/4 inch unit with the "W" Cone glass fiber sandwich cone Tweeter: Hi-Vi RT1-II Isodynamic Planar Frequency Response: 60Hz-20kHz +/- 3dB Sensitivity: 86dB Power Handling: 75W RMS Crossover: 3kHz Impedance(Nom): 8 ohms Dimensions: 14" H x 8" W x 10.5" D Net Weight: 20lbs (44kg) Shipped from Columbia, MO. ![]() ![]() ![]()
