I have 4 and have always wanted to build a dac :-)

Hi Nanook,

Why not? Just the interface reciver chip. You can use it with any filters or DACs!
You can check on the forum!

it's been 10 years since I've played witht he idea of DIY DACs, I lost the CS8412s that I had...don't where I placed them.

I gotta believe a dual Dac per channel could be configured as either in parallel for more current or or set up to run true balanced...
hm, with a bit of a switch maybe both configurations...

Better go check the digital forums
