Sony Playstation 1 SCPH-1002 and remote for sale
I guess most people have read the thread on using a PS1 as a cd player - here Playstation as CD-player
Well I sourced a PS1 - searched high and low for one with the famous 1002 model number - apparently the best sound quality and with audio connections on the rear. I added to this a remote control unit and intened to mod it as described in the thread above, re-box the PSU etc but have never got round to it - in fact it has sat here ever since. It does sound nicer than the Technics unit it replaced, but I decided I can't live without a display telling me what track i'm on.... Anyway, the playstation is for sale - in great condition complete with 1 controller, RF cable for connecting to a TV and the remote / reciever.
