Built the Ariel 5s cabinets purely for the woodworking challenge. Just trying to recoup some material expense. No picutre up yet but the schematics are here http://www.audiokit.it/ITAENG/KitDif...L/Ariel-5s.gif
These cabinets do not have the holes cut, have not been veneered and do not have the radii cut on the corners. I have left them this way so whomever decides to finish them can use any driver and veneer he/she likes. Also the router bits would have cost $500 for the pair of them so I did not round the corners. Other than that, the cabinets have been built directly to spec. So the price, heres the breakdown. MDF (2 sheets 3/4") - $100 Baltic birch ply (1 sheet 3/4") - $70 Ill make it $250 OBO, you'll never have a chance to own these for less money. |
