I built prototype cabinets out of MDF and liked them so much I ordered a whole slew of new upgrade components with the idea of building new ones with Birch plywood cabinets. Well I come to realize I have way too many projects and not enough time to work on them. It took me a year to getting around to building the MDF cabinets! My loss is your gain....

The original kit came with low quality (Bennic) capacitors and small coils and cheap 1/4 watt resistors.

This kit comes complete with the orginal drivers, including the titanium tweeter that is no longer available, upgraded crossover components including Mills non-inductive 12w wire-wound resistors, Zen and Harmony (bypass) capacitors, and Solen Hepta-litz inductors. Additional items are the new (smoother sounding) fabric dome tweeter that is currently shipping with the Super 12 kit as well as a custom pair of ATD RT-25 circular ribbon tweeters. So you have three different tweeters you can use/choose from to get the sound that suites you. Many people prefer the brighter sound of the original Titanium tweeter that is no longer available! Also included are a pair of decent speaker terminals, and two round black Deflex panels both of which are not included in the original kit.

What this amounts to is about $950 total cost of parts that have never even been soldered, including the 12" drivers.

But I'm selling for the price of the original kit! only $650

And you don't have to go to the hassle of ordering all this stuff from the different sources.

Here's what Dick Olsher of Enjoy The Music had to say; see the full review link at the bottom of this page...

"...With the S-12, the harmonic envelope rockets into space, revealing pitch and volume modulations with the greatest of ease. This is the one aspect of full-range drivers that puts multi-way speakers to shame - even those very expensive audiophile darlings...
...Another strong suit is the delineation of spatial detail, both in terms of focus and stage depth. With the help of a good front end, image outlines may assume a 3-D palpability...
...The Super 12 loudspeaker joins a select group of speakers that I could enjoy until the end of time. I would gladly choose it over a host of $5K or even $10K multi-way speakers. No, it doesn’t have the killer bass or ultimate treble finesse of these other speakers, and it certainly isn’t a status symbol. But it is intensely musical and absolutely affordable – a winning combination in my book."

Prebuilt or kit cabinets as low as $160 here:

price reduced!!!

I've lowered the price to $575 which is way below what I paid for all this stuff. Almost half price!!! And that's $75 off of the basic kit price ($650), so you can put this towards purchasing a cabinet via link given above.

This is a KILLER deal guys!

I just don't have the time to build this project right now and I already have two other speakers!

cheers, -Brad-
