WTB: Extremis 6.8s

I have exactly 4, NIB. I was about to put them on ebay.

They were bought for design evaluation purposes, and we're going another way. So the drivers are excess stock now. Never been mounted. Took one dustcap off one driver to peer inside. Simple glue job, to re-attach. heck..If I were you..I'd do something in that space, and pull the other three dustcaps, and do the same!

I decided to search/post here first. Bully for you.

Make me a reasonable offer, make it soon.

You have 48 hours, which will be fine if you have the good sense to look at your old threads.....as where I'm at right now, I have no capacity for emails.

my UPS account. low shipping. 50% or more off. Likely $25 or less to any point in the 48 states.

I've shipped about 4000 parcels via UPS- I'm not even going to bother to check on that price. I think I know by now.

so, $300 US even, then.. There you go. otherwise, it's $400 PLUS shipping. and theirs might be more expensive on the shipping.

Not a difficult decision.

price is good. Also, point being, with the dustcaps removed, and felt placed on the pole pieces, and then dustcaps re-glued...

They'd sound a bit better. Kill some of the higher frequency anomalies they have. This would not be buried in the mix, no matter what slope you use. It just makes for a notably less harsh driver, is all. The Adire drivers are not unique in this, but they are kinda, in that it can be fixed!

Dustcap comes off easy, and is easy to replace, with Lepage GREEN (enviromentally safe, zero solvent) contact cement. Very easy to do. I COULD of put that dustcap back on, and you'd of never known the difference. But I'm not into anything but full disclosure.

And, the glue on the dustcaps is very soft glue. zero scars or even any evidence of there being any glue (ever!) on the dustcap or the cone.

Arg. OK. $280 it is. Now, it had better be easy payment, or I'm not interested.
