I had this player years ago (I think it was 1992). Comparing to my Marantz CD 94 it sounded like crap and after 6 months I sold it for CAD800. It still may be good thou, after performing all those recommended mods.

I see.

I was thinking that would be better than many other CDs, so what you are saying is better to go with Marantz or CD-Pro2.
