I think when Nick was having his sell-out (2001?) most of his $279 drivers were selling for $179ea. I think I picked up my 12" PB12's during this period for $169(??? - memory fails me).

But I'm not sure that the TD series had the benefit of this mark-down - otherwise I'm sure I would have gone for these instead.

At $450 a pair, I'd say that even the single faraday TD-15H's would be good value. I'm not sure that they're made any more - and even the bottom end of Mr McKinney's speaker range were something special for the price.
