Default Improve CD playback with an Atomic Clock!

You hear about people upgrading the clock in their DAC to improve the low level detail in CD playback. I have a massive Cesium beam tube from a 60's vintage Hewlett Packard 5061A atomic time and frequency standard for sale/trade. It is 16" long, about 5-1/2" in diameter and weighs 16 lbs. These tubes are actually very rare and are of value as a museum piece.

Might I suggest bolting this atomic frequency standard to the top of the CD transport and start enjoying better sound right away! Sure a 16+ lb. block of lead would improve the performance in the same way but you could not boast having an actual, honest to goodness atomic clock in your CD player!

This is a terrific peer group status item for anyone who is running out of upgrade ideas.

The tube contains trace amounts of non-radioactive Cesium 133. If it is not opened there are absolutely no health dangers associated with owning it.
