Dac...

CD-Pro is interesting...or?

You may have the board with 1451A "std" & CS8412.
There are also an extra IV board, can be set to different config, to suit 1543.
Boards are made of a forum-member far east.
All documentation (part-list & setup/test) is included.

Arne K,

Have you built one?

Is the documentation in English?

Note my cdpro mechanism is 2nd hand, and untested by me!

I cannot test the cdpro myself because I do not have a DSA protocol board, or the equipment at hand.

Kind regards,

Ashley.

Hi all,

My first post and maybe it'll be of some use. I have a complete dac section from a cambridge audio cd2 spare. I built a good one from two dead units and have it available. It is complete,in good order and works as I have tested it. I didn't use this particular one as the other one had aluminium heat strips fitted to the tda1541 i.c's (x4) and seeing as the cd2 suffers a bit from cooking I used that one instead.

Regards

Mat
