Default FS: Shielded wire, 50 24awg copper

I work in the telecom industry and have come across some cable for old Nortel channel banks. We use hubs now so the cable got to come home with me. It has never been used. I'm not sure if the cable is usable for any DIY projects but it never hurts to offer.

The cable has 50 24awg copper wires running straight thru it. No twisted pairs. This bundle of wires is wrapped by clear plastic film, surrounded buy a layer of foil, a braided sheath of tin(its silver colored anyway) and ofcourse the thick gray outer sheath over that. Each wire is color coded but not like your typical cat5e cable. I'm guessing these would make a nice set of interconnects or something similiar. The roll is 100' long. I have 5 rolls. Will sell by the foot if interested. I have pictures to email if you want. Email the pic request to

Replace "at" with @

I might even mail out some short samples if you can convince me your really interested. Not sure what price to put on these but your welcome to make an offer by the foot or the whole roll. You pay shipping ofcourse as the entire roll it rather heavy.

I might be interested in some for a set of speaker cables. How much for a roll? I'm not sure what it is worth to me, as I have no idea how it will sound when it is finished.

Still for sale. Make an offer. I won't be insulted. Well, I might be. Just be reasonable. Willing to send out some samples for a visual look/see if your insterested in an entire roll.
