Default WTB/WTT 10.000 uF >40V Snap in caps

Hello,
I'm searching for at least 4 pcs of 10000 uF capacitors, voltage rating >=40V, snap-in, to fit my Mauro Penasa Ref Boards.

105°C types preferred.

Can buy but prefer to trade with the components listed in this wiki http://www.diyaudio.com/wiki/index.p...e=SP_CS8414_GB

Available to trade also 10uF/400V MKP caps or dual smd to DIP8 adapters with 2*OPA627 installed!!

Cheers

Andrea

Default caps

I bought some 12,000 uF snap ins at 63VDC from some guy in canada, who ripped me off, by putting them in a small plastic envelope and sent them international to me which banged them up quite a bit. I had to throw out some due to leaking electrolyte. I've got a few that I think are working and don't look damaged. You can have them if you want.

Hi Andrea,
I´ve got 12 14000uF/50V caps from Kendeil
which are 35.5mm diameter, 51.5mm long, 10mm Snap-in type. (1.40€/piece)
Unfortunately I don´t need anything you´ve listed.
Looking for GC toroids actually (~2*24VAC).
But anyway let me know if they´d work for you.

greets

To be honest, Jan, I´ve never even heard of Kendeil.
Are they any good?
It only says "Kendeil", "made in italy" and capacitance/voltage-value on the cap.
I´ll probably skip my Aleph3 project so have a few caps to spare plus other things. (Felsic caps, toroids, heatsinks, PCB´s...)

Well, as far as I know Kendeil is rated in the top segment.
1, 40 is very cheap, they sell over here for about double that price.

Link is in dutch, but I think you understand.

I think it is worth while to use them and check how they sound.

Hello,
thanks for the offers, but the size constraints are somewhat smaller, about 30mm diameter.

Regards

Andrea

30mm diameter for 105° won´t be too easy to find although 85° for a "cold" amp should be fine really.
The 10000uF/40V BC Components 056 series would fit (amongst others) but isn´t 105°-type.(available at Schuro)
Also going down in capacitance shouldn´t hurt really.
There are 4 caps on the board anyway, aren´t there?

105°C types are the preferred choice but also 85°C will fit.

In this moment I use 4700uF but wanted to use the "standard" 10000 uF value.

The board uses 4 caps.

Cheers
