I/V - op amp offset influence on DAC performance ?

Hi,

most op amps including OPA627 have significant offset.
Does that degrade linearity of DAC chips like TDA1541 or other multibit chips ?
It should degrade R-2R DAC.

Bernhard,

Significant offset? Surely not more then a couple of mV? I know DACs don't like offset at their current output (therefore one must be carefull using just an I/V resistor), but a few mV wouldn't matter I would think.
