Hi everyone.
I just want to let you know that I’m selling a pair of Altec 606 cabinets with 601 duplex drivers on eBay. I really want them to go to a good home. Let me know if you have any feedback. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESE%3AIT&rd=1 Thanks. |

I'm getting discouraged. My ad has been on eBay for a week and not a single bid. Are they worthless? Am I doing something wrong? Anyone have any helpful ideas?
Thanks. |

Not to sound like a jerk, but you're trying to sell a pair of speakers that are essentially non operational, blown woofer, blown tweeters, only one crossover unit, partially damaged cabinet. What's the point? A person could spend more on repairing these than buying a pair in operating order, and they'd still have mismatched drivers.
I think you're going to have to give up the ghost on these. Good luck in selling them, I'm not trying to disparage you, just being realistic. |

I'm starting to get the picture. Others have said similar things. I guess I was just hoping that an Altec fan could have some fun with them. I have less than 24 hours left, let's see if anyone wants a project.
Thanks again. |
