Any suggestions on what to use as a transport for the dAck!

I have a list of Pioneer units that are suggested as good transports - but none appear on Ebay or Audiogon.

Will keep up the search. I really dont want to spend a ton on a transport - I am open to suggestions.

I'm of the opinion that a decent DVD player will do the job. Look around for some of the Toshiba SD-3950/60/80's or one of the other decent DVD players. Almost all of them will read just about any type of CD with no problem, regardless of minor surface damage.

I also hear that most DVD players do a better job on the digital output side too than standard CD transports. Hell, you might have a DVD player laying around that you can use :)
