Hi,

I am still looking for the following equipment damaged or in non working conditions.

Studer D730 D731 A764 A721 D424 D780

Email if you have one of those equipment you would like to part with for a reasonnable price.

To come back to Cobra2 post, Revox was the "consumer" version of the Studer professional products. In terms of CD players the correspondence is the following:

Revox B225 = Studer A725 (with XLR) 14+2 bit D/A (TDA1540) Still very musical but lacks dynamic and detail compare to today's standard.
Revox B226 = Studer A727 (with XLR) 16 bit D/A with the famous philips TDA 1541. Th A727 is excellent.

Then there are no more direct connection between Studer & Revox as the two companies were sold separately, although there is a Revox C221 with a bitstream type D/A and XLR.

There is also the Studer D732 (Do not know much about it)
and the famous Studer A730 & D730/1. Those are wonderful.
The A730 is equiped with the TDA1541
The D730/1 is equiped with the bitstream TDA1547.
