I've got some irfp240's up on ebay.

These are good for aleph 2 ( 4 groups of 6 matched)

These are good for other projects (4 groups of 3 matched)

These are 2 groups of 12 matched

I match groups of 300 at a time and group transistors w/in 10mV which is about the accuracy of my clock and my meter. I match at .75A for 30 seconds. All transistors are at pretty much uniform temp at the beginning of the match since they sit on my glass table. If anyone needs anything else let me know. Oh, a few of the auctions include irf9610's matched w/in +-1mV. :)

thanks!

If anyone is wondering about the quality of the match of the transistors that Matt is offering. I can tell you first hand that they are first rate as I have purchased many matched sets from him and they are absolutely as advertised and at the best prices I have found to date. As a matter of fact I just purchased another set of 24 and I can't wait to get my hands on them.

Thanks Kilo! I really try my best to get as perfect matches as possible. I have made a jig for matching, use a nice regulated PS where i can monitor the current, try to be as consistant as possible etc. Basically i get the chips as close as reasonably possible without matching each on a heatsink for hours on end. Matching 300 at a time takes 4.5 hours of sitting staring at a clock. I get a little nutty afterwards, so i hope that my ebay listings look ok. hehe. Thanks again Guy! If anyone has any special requests for groups, let me know.

later!
