For sale a 6 channel chip amp. Basically it is a revived and cleaned up ELAN amp.
It has 6 channels of LM3886 in a straight textbook 20 dB gain non inverting circuits with Zobel on the output. Around 60W/channel. The chassis itself is very decorative, 1U high with heatsinks on both sides. Speaker binding posts are substantial gold plated 5 ways. The original PS had a short and burned out the low voltage section. I've reused the +-31V section, the power transformer and the power amp boards, removed all the buffering and bridging circuits. The transformer is a 420 VA toroid, the capacitor bank is 40000 uf. $70 |

For popular demand: the amp is fully functional, no hum, hiss, buzzing etc. Inside there is a burning spot on the PS PCB, but it does not affect the amp.
