Default FS: TI C6211 DSP starter kit

This is a ready-to-run board featuring the Texas Instruments C6211 150MHz, 1200 MIP fixed-point digital signal processor.

This DSP/board features
  • 32-bit VLIW processor
  • 64K L1 cache
  • 512K L2 cache/on chip RAM
  • two multichannel serial ports (McBSPs)
  • six independent ALUs and two multipliers
  • 4MB SDRAM on board
  • 128K reprogrammable FLASH on-board
  • TLC320AD535 Codec
  • expansion port with all signals
  • Parallel port interface
The package includes

TMS320C6211 DSP Starter Kit including board, power supply, and parallel cable.

Code Composer Studio 1.2 (Windows)
Debug tools release 1.2 (Windows)
Code Generation tools 4.0 (UNIX)
DSK tools release 1.05
Printed CCS tutorial

The debugging tools in this package are very robust with profiling and CPU utilization capabilities. There is Dolby Digital code written for this IC, so it definitely has some strong digital audio capabilities, if also some limitations due to the fixed-point architecture.

Asking $80 obo + $7 shipping in U.S. and Canada.
